REPORTS TO: Finance Manager
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Junior Finance Manager to join our family run business. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the Company’s finances. In your varied role you will be supporting the Finance Manager with the day to day managing of the business’s finance function, across multiple departments falling under the 4 individual companies, identifying any areas for improvement within current systems and then discussing solutions with the Finance Manager for implementation.
The ideal candidate will need a great eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should have extensive experience of working within the accounting industry, and hold a professional accounting qualification – either demonstrable by experience or formally (AAT Level 4, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Minimum hours of work are 8am to 5pm, working Mon – Fri
Salary – Range between 23k-28k depending on experience

REPORTS TO: Head of Operations – Grounds
Our family run business is looking for an Operations Manager to lead our grounds maintenance teams in East Anglia and Norwich.
As a member of the management team you will be expected to support the Senior Management Team in developing and delivering the organisational vision and values within all business activities. As a representative of the business you will ensure that our colleagues, clients and supply chain understand and engage with our vision and values.
You will manage client relationships whilst maintaining compliance with industry standards, client specifications and organisational policy and procedure. The right candidate will ensure that the administration team are equipped and prepared to deal with customer communications in a prompt and professional manner. Inc. but not exclusive to; praise, queries, complaints and quotations.
Using your knowledge of customer requirements, team skills and statutory requirements the candidate will successfully programme cyclical works for all teams and ensuring that these are either delivered as expected or rescheduled so as to minimise disruption to remaining works.
In this rewarding role you will play an important part in maintaining the grounds around defence assets in the Lincolnshire area. You’ll be responsible to the Team Leader and will be required to work alongside other operatives to undertake the grounds maintenance on and around our river networks.
You will undertake work in compliance with the CGM Group’s health and safety policies and procedures in order to minimise the risk to themselves and others.
You will ensure all work is carried out with due regard to environmental and conservation needs to reduce the environmental impact.
You will suggest and put forward new ideas/methods of working which improve safety, efficiency and effectiveness.

REPORTS TO: Head of Operations
As the Project manager you will play a key role in leading the delivery of public realm construction projects from £10,000 to £1m.
Working within our projects team, this varied role will involve taking projects at their pre-construction phase; informing the final stages of the design process, and resolving the practical limitations of the design in relation to the existing built environment on site.
In addition to the project-specific responsibilities, the Operations Manager with the support of a Junior Estimator will be responsible for the submission of monthly valuations for their projects and for efficient and effective cost control of the projects which they are managing. This will include, but not be limited to, auditing and managing the buying on projects and measuring the project to determine any variation costs.
The Operations Manager (Projects) will be responsible for assisting the Head of Operations in the adequate resourcing of the Company’s projects. This will include identifying skills shortages; assessing our resource requirements; interviewing and recruiting staff and managing their training and development on site.

Our Projects department carries out works for a wide range of discerning clients; the successful candidate will be one who is able to work well in both a large team, but also individually, sharing their skills and ideas.
